My deepest gratitude to Tesco in Macclesfield for hiring honest, decent people.
I could not believe it when I got home tonight to realise I had left a laptop in a bag hanging off a shopping trolley, maybe we all make mistakes but this was utterly stupid. It took 20 minutes to get back to the store and the trolley was there but, as expected, no computer!
What was not expected was that somebody had kindly taken it in to the store and handed it to security for safe keeping.
That could easily have been slipped into the back of a car, taken home, formatted and flogged on eBay.
Sure as heck I would do the same thing but in this day and age I’ve come to expect that not everyone thinks along the same line.
Whoever you are, thank you, that was really decent of you, not only am I totally releaved beyond anything you could imagine but it’s topped off with a nice warm feeling that such thoughtful people continue to walk among us.
